Sleep!
Two nights ago Lindy slept through the night for the first time! She did the same thing last night as well. It was so wonderful to get sleep! Somehow I'm still tired during the day, but hey, it sure helps to sleep at night. I'm hoping this keeps up!

1 Month Old
My baby is one month old today. Time really does fly by! It seems like I just brought her home a few days ago. Lindy is absolutely darling! She's still pretty small for her age, but is consistent in her growth so the doctor isn't concerned.
Sadly, Lindy has a mild case of Cholic. I hate that she cramps and hurts and there's nothing I can do about it. Luckily it's mild though. Hopefully it goes away soon. I'm also hoping her new voracious appetite will help. She's eating like crazy. I thought she would've gained about 3 lbs by now. I guess her flailing arms and legs burn it all off. :)
She can now hold her head up all by herself for about 90% of the time. She still has the occasional face plant. Tonight she got it up so high I was shocked! She really likes to be able to see what's going around her and not lying flat on her back. Although, when we've got her like that, she's pretty mellow too. She also loves to be held. I've discovered that if I lie her in the bed next to me when we sleep, she sleeps A LOT longer. It's so cute! And I love having a cuddle buddy when Allan is at work all day.
She has also learned how to shake her head. I'm wondering if I should be concerned. She's only 1 month old and can already shake her head. :| It's actually pretty funny though. She does it when we put her pacifier in her mouth, even if she wants it. She'll shake her head for a bit and then start sucking.
Another new event is that her eyes are starting to change. I still can't tell what color they're going to be, but they are changing. I think I might be detecting some blue coming in around the edges, but we'll see.

Great Poses
I LOVE being home with Lindy everyday. I love getting to know her better and learning more about her personality. She gets cuter everyday! And she's such a good baby! She very rarely cries and if she does, she's super easy to calm down again. She is sleeping 4-5 hrs at a time at night too so I only have to get up a couple of times a night. She's also very cuddly. We really lucked out.
Here are some of my favorite pictures of her (unfortunately they're all from my phone so the quality isn't that great):
Daddy fell asleep while holding Lindy in NICU.
This is one of, if not THE first pictures of Lindy with her eyes open.
Lindy always has her hands up when she's sleeping. I love it when she plays moose. Sadly, I accidentally deleted the picture where her fingers were fully out. But you get the idea.
Out cold!
This is one of my favorites. I put her down on a little pile of clothes on the bed and she rolled down it onto her side. Because her hands were by her face (like always), he rolled down & smashed her cheeks with her hands. She actually stayed like that for a good few minutes w/o any complaining. I couldn't stop laughing at her.
The absolute best pose ever: Thriller...thriller night! That's right, in her sleep she raised up her hands and did the thriller pose. Awesome.
